FASCA Atlanta is organizing a Lunar New Year Culture Program at the Sandy Springs Library on Saturday, February 3rd, from 3:40 pm to 5:15 pm.
Join us for an afternoon of fun and cultural immersion. We’ll explore the traditions and legends of Lunar New Year through:
• A captivating slideshow presentation bringing the Lunar New Year to life.
• A delightful performance of Chinese Zodiac Shadow Puppetry.
• A thrilling Lion Dance to ward off bad luck and welcome prosperity.
• Interactive Lunar New Year crafts like making dragon puppets and paper cuttings.
This event presents a fantastic opportunity to celebrate and share the beauty of our culture with the community. And we need your help to make it a success! We’re looking for 6-8 dedicated volunteers to assist with various tasks.
If you’re passionate about sharing our culture, enjoy working with a team, and want to have a blast celebrating the Lunar New Year, please sign up to volunteer by Monday, 1/22.
Let’s spread some festive cheer!
