Day 1:
The first day of the training! We started with fun icebreaker activities to meet and get to know the new members.
We learned new dances for performing.
We also learned about the racial pandemic / anti-Asian racism and the cultural challenges and issues within Asian immigrant families. Then, we started working on projects to share with others, spread awareness, and demonstrate what we had learned.
Day 2:
We designed our own coasters with inspiration from Hakka Blue Dying.
We did team challenges, and also learned about the importance of using ORID in communication.
We successfully completed the 2023 Jump into FASCA!
Day 3:
On the last day, we had an overview of our training, as well as the closing ceremony. Congrats to all members who completed the 2023 training. Welcome to FASCA!
